The Consejo Empresario Mendocino (hereinafter C.E.M.) is an entity comprising those businessmen whose main interest is to put forward different proposals for the improvement of society in the Province of Mendoza as a whole. The C.E.M. is a new type of association. It does not replace other organizations. It is not a trade-union association, nor does it defend sectorial interests. It rather has an aim and a methodology which make it different from the already existing entities. The C.E.M. deems it necessary and convenient that the Province of Mendoza should be founded again. The idea about what type of Province will be left for the future generations should be duly evaluated. The C.E.M. aims at a medium and long-term job, not at a short-term one. The C.E.M. carries out different proposals for all the society of Mendoza as a whole, not merely for a specific government or a political sector. The C.E.M.'s action will provide the human and material resources necessary when taking important political decissions. The C.E.M. is working hard to provide the Province with a new horizon and to achieve an economic growth sustained in time. The C.E.M. glimpses a promissory future. Its action aims at the fact that the benefits of the economic development will reach the whole population. The
C.E.M. is intending to achieve the harmonious growth of the Province
of Mendoza as a whole and in each of its departments as well. |
